The Information Technology Department of Arnold & Porter has a Hybrid Cloud Engineer opening. This position may work 100% virtual/remote in a firm approved U.S. state. The Hybrid Cloud Engineer is responsible for partnering and working with IT engineering teams in the review and implementation of the firm's infrastructure and transition to hybrid cloud technology that includes compute, storage platforms, and data center collocation sites globally. Additionally, the Hybrid Cloud Engineer identifies and provides systems implementation requirements for network engineering and security engineering as applicable to the firm's core systems platforms to ensure that the design and implementation meets the needs of the firm in the areas of stability, functionality, and availability, as well as adhering to the firm's ISO 27001 audit requirements. The core foundational skills required are Azure Cloud using AVS, Scripting, VMWare/vCenter, and basic knowledge of compute and storage. The Hybrid Cloud Engineer reports to the Manager of Infrastructure Services.

The anticipated base salary for this position is $110,000 to $125,000. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
